Home sweet home. 🏡😂

Some people feel at home in their kitchen, others on their couch. Me? Put me in a tile showroom surrounded by samples, textures, and beautiful finishes, and I’m right where I belong.

At this point, I should probably have my mail forwarded here. 🤍

A little sparkle, a lot of dancing, and a whole lot of community spirit! 💃✨

At Novalux Designs, we believe giving back to the community that supports us is just as important as the work we do every day.

We’re so excited to support NOHS Dancing with the Stars right here in Vernon! ❤️

Supporting local events, bringing people together, and giving back to our community is something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.

Because great design makes a house feel like home, but a great community makes a city feel like one. 🫶

Today’s recap ✨

Started the day presenting what we do here at Novalux , then straight into mounting custom drapes, selecting finishes, checking in on wallpaper, and somewhere in between fitting in a health check and the gym. 😂

Interior designer, installer, finish selector, wallpaper inspector, business owner and apparently professional schedule Tetris player.

A little bit of everything, which is honestly exactly how I like it. 🤍

Bringing spaces to life one very full day at a time.

They say, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

I don’t think that’s true 😂

When you love what you do, you usually work harder. You care more. You overthink the details, answer emails way too late, take the stress home with you, and somehow still get excited to do it all again the next day.

It’s definitely still work.

The difference is, it feels worth it. 🤍

There’s something pretty special about watching your work, your confidence, and your business grow together. 🤍

Every project teaches me something new, every challenge pushes me a little further, and somehow all the small steps start adding up.

Still learning. Still growing. Still figuring things out as I go, but very proud of how far Novalux has come.

And honestly… we’re just getting started.

Interior design is a lot more than picking pretty finishes. 🤍

I help with everything from floor plans and permit ready drawings to kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, furniture, window coverings, wallpaper, finish selections, 3D renderings and all the little details that pull a home together.

Basically, I help take your ideas, organize the chaos and turn them into a space that actually works and feels like you.

From the footprint to the finishing touches, I’m there for all of it.

Turns out being good at what you do has a lot less to do with looking the part and a lot more to do with how you show up. 🤍

Listening. Communicating. Being transparent. Knowing your stuff. Admitting when you don’t. Handling the hard conversations. Caring about the outcome and genuinely giving a damn about the people you’re working with.

The pretty spaces are just the bonus. ✨

Another day, another house getting a little more personality ✨

A little styling, a little problem solving, a lot of running around… basically interior design in a nutshell 😂

Today’s recap ✨ Hanging drapes, adding the finishing touches, and watching all the little details finally pull the space together. This is always the part where it starts feeling complete 🤍
