and then there were five.

history-rich imperfections, timeworn textures, distinctive patinas and an undeniable ability to bring warmth and character to contemporary interiors.

beautifully styled with seasonal branches, gathered alongside other collected objects or simply left to stand on its own, vintage pottery has a way of making an interior feel layered, personal and lived in.

featured here are the last five vintage vessels remaining in our current collection • each one of a kind.

and with just over two weeks until our brick + mortar storefront closes, all remaining in-stock pieces are now 30% off.

explore the collection online or visit us in store before october 31st.

art for the collected home.

if you’ve been with us from the beginning, then you know our story started with our fine art prints. created with the intention of adding character to a corner, interest to a wall, and above all, encouraging us to slow down within the space where we should be most present - our home.

from architectural studies and faraway places to the beauty found in everyday moments, our fine art collection is an exploration of the details worth noticing and finding inspiration in.

and while we have every intention of growing our collection in new ways, the framed fine art pieces currently in the shop are available at 25% off as part of our ‘brick + mortar closing sale’.

a little opportunity to discover something new, or finally bring home a piece you’ve been loving.

l’art pour l’art [art for art’s sake].

when they ask you ‘how do i use architectural salvage in my home?'

this. do this.

art needs no specific purpose beyond the value of its beauty, and that's exact what historic salvage is • art made by time.

featured here • our ‘blue house’ architectural salvage posts, two pieces of art currently a part of our ‘brick + mortar closing sale’ but i won’t be sad if they don’t find a new home and i have to take them to mine. 🖤

BRICK + MORTAR CLOSING SALE • ON NOW

It’s been a busy week since we shared our plans to return to our roots, and the support, kind words and encouragement we’ve received since have meant more than I can express over social. So I’ll just say, thank you, thank you, thank you. 🖤

With many accents and a few core furnishings having already found their new homes, we’ve done a little restyling around the shop as we head into week two of our ‘Brick + Mortar Closing Sale’.

While the shop views have shifted, the sale continues • with 25% off all in-stock pieces.

From one-of-a-kind vintage finds and collected objects to furniture, lighting and art, there’s still plenty to discover.

If something has caught your eye • whether recently or somewhere along the way • now might be the time for another look.

‘for me, styling is a way of looking. it’s about creating simple vignettes that bring joy to a home. a bowl, a candlestick, a branch - these objects can become so much more when arranged thoughtfully. it’s all about the power of placement.’ • colin king

couldn’t see it any other way. 🖤

featured here • our ‘bari’ framed fine art print in 2’ x 3’ format, alongside our ‘bastille’ reclaimed wood sideboard and a vintage pot from our ‘mylan’ collection.

A RETURN TO OUR ROOTS

When this business first took form in 2020 it did so online, driven by a love for collected interiors, intentional design, & the belief that the things we bring into our homes should be thoughtfully chosen. Less than a year later that idea evolved into our first storefront, a physical space to bring the vision to life, to gather & connect.

Year 1 turned into Year 6 in no time, all while so much around us changed - within the world, the retail landscape, our community & our own family, with our “babies” growing up faster than I care to acknowledge.

Change has a way of inviting reflection, and I’ve found myself thinking a lot about where we started, how the business has evolved, & where I want it to go from here.

After a great deal of consideration, Adrian & I have made the decision to close our physical storefront at the end of October, returning our focus to where the business first began - online - providing us the opportunity to become even more intentional about what we offer, how we curate & where we put our energy, with the continued aim of encouraging a slower, more intentional approach to living & design. It will also create more space to grow our interior styling & design services, all while allowing us to be more present in our personal lives.

So, while the storefront is closing, what we’ve built here isn’t going anywhere. White Hill Home is continuing, with new ideas, renewed energy, & a clearer sense of what’s next.

After the doors close, we’ll take a short 2 week pause to refresh the online experience, introduce a newly curated assortment, & prepare to welcome you back. The pieces currently filling our shop won’t be coming with us, which means it’s time to find them new homes.

Our Brick & Mortar Closing Sale begins tomorrow with 25% off all in-stock merchandise, online + in store.

With all that said, I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who walked through our doors, connected with us, followed along, shared our work, & brought something from the shop into their home. I’m looking forward to returning to our roots & continuing to help you create collected + considered homes, in ways we haven’t yet explored.
