Some projects are about beautiful homes. Others are about hope.
I had the honour of designing this transitional house for My Friends House , a local organization that helps women who have chosen courage over fear by leaving domestic violence and starting a new chapter. This project was designed completely pro bono because I believe everyone deserves a space that feels safe, beautiful, and filled with hope.
What made it even more special was watching our community come together. Local businesses donated products, supplied materials at cost, and gave their time so generously. Together, we helped My Friend’s House save more than $45 000, funds that can now go directly toward supporting the women and children who need it most!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible. I’ll be tagging you below because this simply wouldn’t have happened without your support. A special thank you to Samantha from My Friend’s House. Your passion, determination, and heart for the women you serve are truly inspiring. The work you do changes lives every single day, and it was an honour to play a small part alongside you.
This is exactly why I started Laz Co Interiors. Beautiful spaces are important, but creating places where people feel safe, valued, and hopeful again is the greatest privilege of all.
