As we ramp up for the busy season, allow us to re-introduce ourselves.

Meet John Mealey, founder of North Shore LTD.

John's experience in the commercial project finance business, along with a family tradition of building homes in this area, is what sets North Shore apart. In 2017 John began acquiring well established local businesses (in operation since 1994) to better serve builders, designers, and homeowners across the Georgian Triangle with trusted flooring and glass solutions backed by expert installation.

Today, The Glass Place and The Flooring Place have joined forces to create North Shore - bringing flooring, glass, windows & doors, and custom metal products together under one roof (pun intended).

What sets us apart is more than the products we offer. It’s our commitment to craftsmanship, strong relationships with the builders and designers we work alongside, and staying connected to the community we call home, including initiatives like supporting local youth through programs such as Second Tracks.

We’re proud to continue helping bring projects to life across the region.
