I’m sorry I’ve been missing an action lately. I am currently working on an order for 33 patchwork pillows for one client.😳 Each one is made custom ordered and has a list of special details that are needed. To give you an idea of how long these take to create, from start to finish, I usually can get one sometimes two done in a day, depending if I do some extra prep work ahead of time. They are beautiful though, and each one is a strong testament of the love this husband has for his wife. ❤️  I usually don’t share items until they are picked up, so this one might take a while. 😉

Along with this order, I am also working hard prepping for the Outdoorsman Show tomorrow with my Turtle Bay Crochet plushies. 🐢

And somewhere in the midst of all that, my husband decided that we needed some time away to breathe so he took me to Florida for Mother’s Day. ❤️

I’m still here, sewing and crocheting away, and thinking of all of you. Happy Friday!

The day you left,
it wasn’t loud…
there were no storms,
no breaking skies—

just a quiet shift
that only my heart seemed to notice.

And suddenly,
everything felt different.

The colors didn’t disappear all at once—
they faded slowly,
like a sunset that lingered
longer than it should…
until the world felt softer,
dimmer,
quieter than before.

I still see beauty,
I still smile sometimes,
I still walk through days
like I always have—

but there’s a space now…
a gentle, aching space
where your laughter used to live.

And I think that’s what people don’t understand—
it’s not that life stops,
it’s that it keeps going
without the one person
who made it feel complete.

Still,
every now and then,
something small happens—
a light, a memory, a feeling—

and for a moment,
just a moment,
the colors come back.

Not the same as before,
not as bright…

but enough
to remind me
that loving you
never left with you. 🤍
