Another delivery. Another reminder of why this work matters.

Today, The BraveArt Project & .taylor.ns donated therapeutic paint-by-number kits to .ns .bryony . Funding for this was generously provided by the 💜🎨

Here’s the thing people don’t always see:

When someone is navigating trauma, crisis, or transition, their nervous system is overloaded.

They don’t need more advice.
They don’t need more pressure.

They need access to something gentle.

Something that doesn’t require words.
Something that allows their brain to slow down.
Something that gives them even a small sense of control.

That’s what these kits are.

They’re not just art supplies, they’re a tool for regulation, reflection, and relief.

And in a time where access to creative and therapeutic supports is shrinking… this work feels more important than ever.

Thank you to Rachel and team for doing this work on the ground every day. And thank you to everyone helping me make this possible.

We’re building something that matters.

And we’re just getting started 💜

Today was one of those full-circle moments 💜

I had the honour of delivering The BraveArt Project therapeutic art kits to in Kentville,

Chrysalis House provides crisis, shelter, support, outreach, advocacy and transitional services for women, gender diverse individuals and their children who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing violence and abuse. Thanks to Lesley and her team with .ns for doing this work 💜

These kits were funded and made possible by the . In a time where access to accessible art in Nova Scotia is dwindling, it makes me that much more grateful to have this support 💜🎨

Each kit includes:
- paint-by-number or diamond dot art kits
- mini journal and pen for silent reflection
- a reminder that healing doesn’t have to be rushed or perfect

This isn’t just about art.
It’s about creating space, for breath, for feeling, for even a small sense of safety and control. Things survivors often go without.

The BraveArt Project exists because healing deserves to be accessible, gentle, and human.

And today, that mission felt very real.

To everyone who has supported, shared, or purchased, you are part of this impact ✌🏼

This is just the beginning.
