Job opportunity!

We are looking to fill 2 positions this summer, both Cashier/Museum Guide!

Work term is 8 weeks, 35 hours a week

Open to anyone aged 15-30, you do not need to be a student!

Job Requirements:

Able to operate register! We do not have a barcode system, so all item prices need to be manually inputted

Record sold products for our inventory!

Learn about our artifacts! Wow people with our history and your knowledge!

Maintain a clean work environment!

Most of all, be friendly and open! This is a public-facing position!

A REMINDER:
The Grand Lake Centre of Economic Development’s Annual General Meeting is on Saturday, December 9 at 2pm at the Grand Lake Centre!

Premier Andrew Furey will be attending.

Anyone 18+ and resident of the Humber Valley are welcome!

Want a job position this fall that will keep you busy, have you meeting new people and learning new things?

The Humber Valley Heritage Society has a position open for 18 weeks, starting October 02, 2023. The position involves working in The Roy Whalen Regional Heritage Centre & Archives and attached Valley Crafts Shop. Duties will include: helping the manager and coordinator in serving customers, providing museum tours, maintenance, research, and other duties as required.

The applicant must be EI eligible.
