Learn the art of yarn spinning!

This two (2) session class is designed with the beginner in mind. You will get an introduction to spinning on an Ashford Kiwi 3 (or your own spinning wheel). Learn about the anatomy of a spinning wheel, how to set it up, what tools you'll need, the types of fibre and how to prepare them.

You'll learn techniques on how to operate a spinning wheel, plying and balancing yarn, and basics of project planning.
Prerequisites: None

When: September 13 and 20th
Time: 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Where: The Yarn Merchant - 2017 19th Avenue, Didsbury, Alberta
