New toy arrived just before the weekend! Finally replacing my old roller rotary with something better. Got the chance to set it up, calibrate it, and get to work with it.

This is a rotary chuck accessory for the laser, turning the Y-Axis into a rotary plane for engraving round or cylindrical objects. This chuck is directly coupled to the motor, allowing for better control and much higher quality designs compared to the old roller type rotary. It took much longer to get set up than the old one, but works much better.

Super happy with the results, and looking forward to completing more custom mugs and bottles with this attachment!

Starting Christmas early this year! Of course, my wife is wondering what's wrong with me, as I'm one of those people strongly against decorating prior to Remembrance Day. This year, I'd like to be able to better keep up with orders as I'm expecting a busier schedule at work and hoping for more orders. I'm also looking to offer some more ornaments, so I will be adding more as I go! I've attached an image of a new ornament I'm offering on this post.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints and other factors, I will no longer be offering custom wood-working. All work from here on out will be done with laser only. I will not be making cutting or charcuterie boards, bottle openers, or coasters. I apologize to anyone who may be looking to this page for other custom work.

Finished these up today, quite happy with the look! This project made me realize how much I hated painting with a brush. I finished the octopus with a new air brush I picked up, and I'm happy with how smooth the layers of paint turned out.

After a little break in January, and a busy couple of months afterwards, I finally got around to re-vamping my rotary set up. Been playing around with different types of mugs, and I'm happy with how they turned out!

Needless to say, I'm happy to offer travel mug engraving services to customers!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Made these frames and roses for the wife (Lego bouquet was a Christmas gift, she just added the roses!). The frames are a nice B-day/ anniversary gift, and are quite versatile. Doesn't really show off the roses, but that's fine. They still look great in the bouquet!
