Portfolio piece #6 is complete!

This has turned into my favourite piece yet and if you keep reading you'll find out why 🩵

After creating my underlayer with inks, acrylics and even a bit of collage, a figure jumped before my eyes. I wasn't planning on painting a snake, but it was so vividly staring at me I couldn't ignore it. So I drew the outline and continued on. My next painting session I sat down, and 2 more snakes beamed in front of me. These snakes were begging to be painted! I rushed to tell Logan and he touched my forehead to see if I was running a fever 🤣.

This painting glows in darker lighting where the copper lies. I tried to capture that one of the photos. Can you see? Her eyes also follow you wherever you move.

Painting this piece became incredibly meaningful to me for many reasons and I'm so thrilled to share it as part of my portfolio.

Well some last minute news, my mom has convinced me to sit alongside her for the Leduc Winter Art Walk!

Come support the arts this Saturday between 11am-5pm at the Leduc Recreation Centre to look at all the fantastic art 🎨 I have decided to sell some pieces I have done through school 😊 below is the bulk of the pieces that will be available.
