It is with deep love and sadness that I share the passing of Miss Kitty.

She first came into my life as a stray, living in the alley behind My Grandma’s Attic. In the cold winters she found shelter under our rickety back step, and though she was shy, I quietly put out food and watched from a distance as she gathered the courage to trust me. In the spring, she had kittens that we found good homes for, and by the fall of 2011, she began leaving me gifts of mice—a gesture of friendship that marked the beginning of an unbreakable bond. From that moment, she became the love of my life, and many who visited the store would stop in just to see and pet Miss Kitty.

When she was spayed, the vet estimated she was already at least five years old. That means Miss Kitty graced this world for 18, maybe even 19 years—years filled with loyalty, intelligence, and quiet companionship. When I closed the store, I worried she might not adjust, but she quickly made herself at home, delighting in her new surroundings and curling up with me every night.

Miss Kitty was more than a pet—she was family, a steady presence through life’s hardest seasons, and the truest companion I’ve ever known. Her spirit will always hold a very special place in Kitty Heaven, and in my heart forever.

I love you, Miss Kitty.

My Great Granddaughter is going to Australia and is needing a place for her older cat, I have Miss Kitty and 2 other elderly cats, so I am unable to help her out, plus I have 2 dogs, and one does not like new additions to the family which is why Miss Kitty is confined to my room and office. Hopefully someone is able to give Storm the love she deserves.

This bike is an absolute gem. It comes from my grandson Trevor’s business—many of you might remember him as my partner in My Grandma’s Attic. I never could have started that venture without the incredible support of Trevor and his wife Amanda. Their help meant the world to me. Please consider supporting this wonderful small business. Thank you!

I came to our owner once and I said "we can't have this doc fee at $499. We are losing our rear ends."
