We have a very special trunk show in right now featuring from Finland! Beautiful Finnish wool in fi*****ng and DK weight as well as some silk mohair in lovely colours.
After unpacking and displaying all this gorgeous yarn, we thought it deserved a special little sign to add to the display.
Come stop by and check out the colours. Each skein is 100 g with tons of yardage to make mittens, cardigans, shawls, and more.

Each bundle comes with six skeins of colours that have been specifically chosen from this pattern’s most popular colour choices and we have three different bundles to choose from.

Cascade Wave is 100% sw wool. Each skein is 201 m per 100 g with a gauge of 20 sts per 10 cm.
Recommended needle size for this is 5 mm on a 32” cable and is worked flat.

We just received ARNE & CARLOS newest sock yarn colours! We are loving the subtle browns, blues, and orange hues in this shipment. Inspired by Norwegian traditions & Scandinavian nature, this yarn features harmonious and symmetrical designs without complicated techniques. Ideal for socks, but also for accessories & other projects.
Gauge: 30 = 10 cm
420 m/100 g
75% virgin wool, 25% polyamide

It's Heritage Day long weekend! Hope you're enjoying the extra day of rest and the lovely summer weather today. A reminder the shop is closed and we will not have our usual Monday evening Crafter Dark get together.

Happy World Embroidery Day!🪡

Here are some embroidery supplies & kits that we stock in the studio. There's lots to browse through - best to stop by for a visit and browse through the entire selection. 😊 Or, if you want to join us for a class, the next on the schedule is a Ghost Raven Witch, in October. It's a beginner friendly class that takes place over two Saturday afternoons on the 17th & 24th. 🐦‍⬛

We have a kids crochet class starting in the fall on Saturdays! Our kids beginner crochet class will cover the basics of crochet: how to make a slip knot, work a foundation chain, the basic single crochet stitch, as well as single crochet through the back loop only, and single crochet through the front loop only. We will look at ways to hold the hook and yarn, stitch tension, common terms seen in beginner patterns, and finishing techniques.

Kids will be working on a square that can be seamed and used as a pouch for special critters or they can crochet more squares to make into a blanket or scarf. We do ask that your child is at least 8 years old to join.
