The most important step in getting organized is DECLUTTERING…getting rid of the things you no longer use simplifies choices and makes space for easy access to what you need.

In this front closet for a family of 4, we (one organizer, 2 parents) pulled out EVERY item and evaluated its worth (keep, donate, sell, relocate), cleaned the space and then organized what’s left:)

Time: 3.5hrs
Donations: 4 xlg bags
Supplies: $0 (reused existing containers)
Fee: 1 organizer at$40/hr =$140
Result: smoother mornings

We usually like to reuse + repurpose any storage bins or baskets our clients already have on hand, but this week these ‘ cube storage bins’ from Walmart came in handy for 2 different projects :)

One was a large closet makeover where we used 3 for storing 3 different types of pyjamas.

And the other was a super quick bathroom tidy as part of a whole home declutter and staging project.

These cloth bins come in a variety of colors and patterns, fold flat when not in use, and are cost effective at $5 each. Also Walmart is everywhere, so it’s easy to grab a few more if needed:)

You don’t need more storage space or more bins, you need to have less things.

We are decluttering experts, gently guiding you through the process of letting go of the past you and streamlining a more simplified life for the person you are today.
