🧶 So incredibly proud of my Cozy Club students 💛

Last month in our club, we dove into the world of granny squares—and not just how to make them, but the story behind them too.

From their history all the way to modern-day designs, we explored how something so simple can turn into so many beautiful creations ✨

And these students absolutely ran with it.

Each of them:
🧶 Chose their own project
🧶 Picked out their yarn
🧶 Helped research patterns
🧶 And brought their ideas to life stitch by stitch

We had 4 completely different granny square projects on the go—and every single one is so unique and so them 💛

Some are still finishing up their projects now, and I couldn’t be more proud of all the creativity, effort, and growth I’ve seen in this group. It has truly been such a joy to be part of their crochet journey 🥹

Watching their confidence grow, their skills strengthen, and their ideas come to life… this is why I love what I do 🧶✨

I can’t wait to share what they create next 💛

I’ve been working on something extra special in my studio… and I’m so excited to finally share these 💛

✨ 🧶Proud Crochet Teacher Moment 🧶✨

One of my students came to class last week so excited to share that she had created her own jellyfish pattern 🪼

She asked if we could try making it in class… and of course we said YES!

So today, we tested her pattern together — and it was such a fun, creative experience. The girls were all in, picked out some fun chunky yarn, and brought these adorable jellyfish to life.

I am so incredibly proud.💖

Watching her take the skills she’s learned, build the confidence to create something of her own, and then share it with others… that’s exactly why I do what I do ❤️

These are the moments that truly make my heart so full as a teacher.

Every stitch, every idea, every bit of creativity — it all matters.

Tonight was one of those “this is why I love teaching” moments. 🥰

One of my students finished Beginner Crochet 3.0 today, and she brought all of her projects from the series with her. She lined them up on the table — her bunny from Beginner 1, her owl from Beginner 2, and the chicken she finished in class today.🧶🧶🧶

Seeing them all together was the sweetest thing. You could really see her progress over the past few months — her stitch definition, her confidence, and how comfortable she’s becoming with her crochet.💖🧶

Moments like this make me such a proud crochet teacher. Watching students grow, try new things, and get excited about their creations is the best feeling. 🧶💛

Next up for her… Amigurumi class next week! I can’t wait to see what she creates next.🐁🧶

Watching my students grow in their crochet journey is honestly one of my favourite parts of teaching. 🧶💖

Lately a few of my students have been coming to class with projects they’ve been working on at home — trying new stitches, exploring patterns, and even learning from YouTube videos. I absolutely love seeing their curiosity and willingness to try new things.🧶🧶

They bring their creations to class to show me and the other students, and it’s so fun to see everyone get excited and inspired by each other’s work. That kind of creativity and confidence is exactly what I hope my classes help build.💕

I am so incredibly proud of every single one of them and the effort they put into learning and growing their skills. Seeing their excitement when they share what they’ve made truly makes my day.

Cozy stitches and proud teacher moments like this are why I love what I do. 🧶❤️

Tonight was one of those classes that just fills my heart ❤️🧶

Three girls.
So many jokes.
So much laughter.
And SO much crocheting happening all at once.

This is exactly why I do what I do.

These girls worked so hard on their owl plushies — and I’m so proud of each of them. What I love most? Every owl has its own personality:

🦉 One is giving itself the sweetest little hug.
🦉 One has a bit of a sassy attitude (we all see it 😆).
🦉 And one looks like it’s happily waving hello.

They did such an amazing job that we even got ahead tonight and they were able to start their next project already!

Watching their confidence grow, seeing their creativity come alive, and hearing the laughter around the table… it never gets old.🥰🧶🧶

So grateful for these cozy, joy-filled evenings at Lori’s Cozy Crochet 💖

There are projects… and then there are milestone projects. 🧶🧸

This beautiful bear is one of the biggest projects this student has completed yet — and I could not be more proud.

What I love most is that this wasn’t just “a class project.”
It was something she was interested in. Something she chose. Something she committed to finishing.

Watching her work through challenges, stay patient, and see it all come together has been such a joy.

This is why I love private lessons. We can tailor projects to their interests, build skills intentionally, and celebrate big accomplishments like this.

The confidence that comes from saying, “I made this,” is everything.

So proud of you. 💖

Today is one of those long, beautiful, full studio days. 🧶✨
14 hours of teaching.
14 hours of creativity.
14 hours of watching confidence grow.

I don’t take it lightly that families trust me with their kids (and adults!) each week. Watching stitches turn into projects and projects turn into pride… it honestly never gets old.
