Every custom piece has a story.

This one started with a son wanting to do something special for his dad.

One of the owners of Ridgeline Roast reached out to have this custom CNC sign made as a gift for his father’s business, Drip n’ Whip, located in Leduc Common, just outside Edmonton by the airport.

From the design and CNC carving to the painting and final finish, every step was completed right here in the shop. Seeing a simple idea become something that will hang proudly in a family business is one of the best parts of what I do.

Thank you for trusting The 13th Craft with this project. It was a pleasure bringing your vision to life, and I hope this sign serves your family business for many years to come.

Another custom sign out the shop.

This one was CNC carved for Ridgeline Roast in Leduc Common. The entire design was machined from a single piece of wood, hand-finished with a burned wood effect, then carefully painted to make the logo and lettering stand out.

Projects like this are what I enjoy most—taking an idea from a computer screen and turning it into something that will represent a local business for years to come.

A huge thank you to Ridgeline Roast for trusting The 13th Craft with your custom sign. If you’re in the Leduc area, stop in and support a great local coffee roaster.

Sometimes you have to make yourself cool s**t.

This custom air cleaner window started as a piece of machinable acrylic and a simple idea: let the heart of the bike show through.

Designed, CNC machined, hand-finished, and built right here in The 13th Craft workshop. The clear window gives this Harley a completely different look while putting the craftsmanship front and center. Topped off with a custom Masonic emblem, it’s a one-of-one piece that reflects the rider just as much as the motorcycle.

This is what I love about custom work. Taking an idea that’s been bouncing around in your head, turning it into a CAD drawing, then watching it come to life on the CNC.

Because sometimes the coolest parts aren’t sitting on a shelf…

Sometimes you have to make yourself cool s**t.

Built with purpose. Crafted to last.

It is not every day that a craftsman gets the opportunity to place something made by his own hands into the hands of two Grand Masters.

These custom gavels were handcrafted in my shop, The 13th Craft, and presented to the Grand Master of California and the Grand Master of New Jersey.

Built from contrasting hardwoods and shaped by hand, each gavel was designed to be both functional and symbolic—a reminder that leadership, service, and craftsmanship all leave a lasting mark long after the work is finished.

As a Mason, moments like these mean more than the wood, the tools, or the hours invested. It is about contributing something meaningful to the Craft and sharing a small piece of your own journey with Brothers from across North America.

A true honour and a memory I will carry for many years.

X-SPECT NDT – Round Two.

One of the things I appreciate most in business is building relationships that last.

I’ve known John from X-Spect NDT since around 2009, and over the years he’s been a great supporter of what I do. When customers continue to come back and trust you with their brand, it means a lot.

This is John’s second order, and just like the first, he didn’t think small.

This project included:
• 48 custom engraved Kuma Outdoor Gear coffee tumblers
• 6 custom Acacia hardwood butter blocks
• CNC carved and epoxy-filled X-Spect branding
• Designed, engraved, finished, and completed in-house at The 13th Craft

Seeing a customer’s logo come to life across products they’ll actually use every day is one of the best parts of this business.

Thank you, John, for the continued support, the trust, and the opportunity to help showcase the X-Spect NDT brand. Looking forward to the next project.

When you have an amazing supplier, sometimes a simple “thank you” means more than any invoice ever could.

KUMA Outdoor Gear has been great to deal with over the years, and this custom acacia butcher block was my way of showing a little appreciation for the people behind the brand. Designed, carved, laser engraved, and finished right here in the shop at The 13th Craft.

Good business is built on good relationships, and I’m grateful for the support, opportunities, and trust they’ve shown along the way.

Thank you to the entire KUMA team. Looking forward to many more years of working together.
