THE RACE IS OVER…but this one might be one of the quiet contenders.

It’s not quite the Garland of Roses…
but I have to say… Boutique Blossoms made a strong run.

Simple.
Classic.
And just enough detail to let the colour do the talking.

I had fun creating this card set using a few different colour combinations—and it’s one of those stamp sets that just works no matter what you pair it with.

No fuss. No overthinking. Just paper, ink, and a really good stamp image.

And honestly… sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Now that’s a prize of roses! 🌹 🌹🌹

Did you know it takes almost 12 hours on Kentucky Derby Eve to finalize the Garland of Roses. That’s only after months of preparation.

Sounds kinda like completing a two page scrapbook layout…don’t you think? ✂️🤣

Can’t wait to watch the ‘Run for the Roses’ race on Saturday!

This one has me smiling… because sometimes the best projects come from a little creativity and a walk down memory lane. 😊

On Tuesday Night Live, I shared a fun technique—turning a stitched scalloped circle into a rosette… and this sweet vintage-style gift bag is what came from it.

Jumbo and micro pearls, lace, ribbon, fabric rosettes… all those beautiful touches we’ve loved over the years came together in one place.

And even though none of the Derby lineup made it onto this project… it still gives fascinator vibes in the best way.

Proof that you don’t always need something new to create something special. But it does add the extra touch! 😉🌹✨

Ready… Set… BABY! 🍼

This little game will have everyone watching their cup like it’s a full-time job 😂🍋

It’s called:
“First Baby Born”

Here’s how it works:

• Add a mini craft baby into a 1 oz clear cup
• Fill about 2/3 with water
• Press the baby down for 2 seconds so it’s fully submerged
• Pop a lid on
• Freeze overnight

At the party:
• Each guest grabs a cup when they arrive
• Let the melting begin…

First baby to “be born” (aka melts out and can be pulled free) wins a prize!

Simple. Hilarious. And perfect for:
• baby showers
• team gatherings
• large office parties

It’s one of those games that gets people chatting, checking their cup every few minutes, and cheering each other on.
