Our custom dog mudroom is taking shape. Yesterday we installed the upholstered panels on the three walls of the cubby and added a love-seat sized, leather bed.
Would you believe that this fabric is actually a shower curtain? It’s from Indaba and the fabric wasn’t available by the yard so instead I purchased a shower curtain and had the panels made from it. I couldn’t resist the floral pattern and I’m a sucker for the irregularities of a block printed fabric.
I sourced the leather for the bed from Tandy Leather It’s a Pull Up leather so any scratches can be rubbed out. The warmth from the friction will draw up the oils in the hide and blend any scratches.
The thickness of this leather will far outlast a fabric, it’s easy to clean and gets better with age.
Bergey’s feeding station is in and i haven’t tripped over a dog dish since! It’s a dream having them up and off the floor.
Our countertop with runnels is in, backsplash tile and rail and hook by deVOL Kitchens is chef’s kiss. The Kent sconces are by Mullan Lighting
The last thing on my list is to install curtains on Bergey’s cubby. Stay tuned for that!
