There has been lots of interest in this Hudson Bay coloured sweater, I love it!

Fun fact - for a large pullover (Flax sweater pattern from Tin Can Knits) has only taken 1 ball of each colour band of Anthem yarns from The Match Factory . I saw a lot of white in the store last time I was in, and this would look great with white instead of cream as well.

As I said yesterday, I like crisp, clean lines when I knit stripes. But how do you get clean lines when your colour changes fall in ribbing sections? This can happen when you add stripes to the cuff of socks, or in my case when I have to do the ribbing on the bottom of the sweater.

A tip I learned was always knit a round with the new colour first AND THEN follow up with your knits and purls on the next round. It won't make it look weird, it will actually clean it up a lot. You can see the difference. Knitters, what do you think?

I love seeing a project come together! I am just starting the navy, so I am close to finishing the body of this sweater.

Stripes can be a tad tricky to make them look uniform. I love the look of crisp, clean lines and even stripes, so I did the math to figure how many colours and how many inches per colour. After I got started, I saw I needed 24 rows for each colour and then the thinking stopped and counting began.

22 rows to go before I am on the bottom ribbing!
