I often get asked if I felt in 3D, the answer is a resounding YES! I love a fun 3D project. 🧀🥓🫒These felt skewers were created for a woodworking client to help demo their sampling boards long term.

I love a realism challenge! ❤️

Be sure to visit the online exhibit and view all of the talented selected works! Beyond amazing to have felt recognized as an artistic medium.

It's open.

The first International Juried Fiber Art Exhibition is officially live.

When I first started planning this exhibition, I wasn't sure what would happen. Would artists enter? Would there be enough interest?

What happened exceeded every expectation I had.

Artists from around the world submitted work, and I was continually amazed by the creativity, skill, storytelling, and originality that came through those entries. Looking through the submissions only reinforced how much needle felting and wet felting deserve recognition as art.

A huge thank you to our jurors for lending their time, expertise, and thoughtful consideration throughout the selection process.

And to everyone who submitted work, thank you.

The judges had some incredibly difficult decisions to make. There were so many beautiful, thoughtful, and creative entries, and more than once I wished there was room to showcase even more of them.

If you submitted, I hope you're proud of what you created. You should be.

The gallery is now open with thirty selected works from artists around the world, including this year's Juror's Choice winner, Catherine Beddall's Otters in Love.

I'd love for you to take some time to explore the exhibition, read the artists' stories, and discover a few new favorite fiber artists.

You'll find the exhibition details in the comments below.

🎉 Big news from my studio! 🎉

My elk piece, Wandering Perch, was selected for the International Juried Fiber Art Exhibition! 🦌✨ hosted by

Out of more than 120 incredible artist submissions from around the world, this felted lovely made the cut. 💛💛💛 I am deeply honoured and incredibly grateful to the jurors for choosing my work.

Hours of patience, thousands of wool fibers, and a lot of passion went into bringing Wandering Perch to life. Thank you all for supporting my creative process and following along as the project took shape..

New project prep! I’ve officially started the prep for my new 3D project - this new project is of course fungi related (who is surprised?! 😉)… The mushroom species will be determined by the wool sweaters and donated wool material - colour and textures 🎨❤️. My goal is to use repurposed and found materials wherever possible for this project.

I had my first boiling day yesterday - I’ll keep everyone updated on the process 🍄🍄‍🟫🌱

My 2D slow burn 🔥 36x24” felted lovely is framed and final. Introducing Wandering Perch.

From dream to reality. Created by hand with barbed needle and wool fibre on linen. I’m hoping to place this piece as an exhibit anchor in a local gallery 🤞🤞

2026 raised a Mindful Morning opportunity. My goal is to have that moment of sensory mindfulness before the chaos of the day ahead with my deadlines and daily distractions.

Every morning of the weekday, I spend at least 30 minutes before the deadlines descend. Clearing my mind, giving my creativity its daily jumpstart. January was knitting focused, February is Needlefelting… Elk Study progress ahead!

I’m loving the daily incremental progress on my WIP list and find each day with this practice seems less overwhelming and more mindful.
