🍂 The feast is over, but the best part is just beginning! 🦃✨

Don't let that turkey carcass go to waste—it’s time for some post-Thanksgiving meal prep magic! Here is how to turn those leftovers into rich broth, cozy soup, and safe treats for your furry friends:
🍲 1. Rich Turkey Bone Broth
Toss your carcass into a large pot or slow cooker with carrots, celery, onion, bay leaves, and water. Simmer on low for 3–4 hours (or up to 10 hours in a slow cooker). Strain out the bones for a nutrient-packed, liquid-gold base for future meals!
🥣 2. Classic Leftover Turkey Soup
Sauté diced onions, carrots, and celery in a pot. Pour in your fresh homemade broth, add your leftover turkey meat, and toss in some egg noodles or rice. Simmer until tender for the ultimate post-holiday comfort food!
🐶 3. Dog-Friendly Holiday Treats
Want to include your pup? Keep it safe! Cooked bones, skin, onions, and heavy spices are a big no-no for dogs. Instead:
Turkey & Pumpkin Bowl: Shred plain, unseasoned white meat (no skin or bones) and mix with 2 tablespoons of 100% pure pumpkin puree over their kibble.
🍦Frozen Pupsicles: Drop tiny pieces of plain turkey into an ice cube tray, cover with water, and freeze for a fun, crunchable treat!

👇 What’s your go-to leftover creation? Are you team Turkey Soup, team Sandwich, or team Casserole?

Let us know in the comments! 👇

Tiny creature, huge dad energy! 🐾 Did you know sugar glider dads are fiercely protective co-parents who help guard the nest and raise their joeys? ❤️

Keep up the great work cheeseburger!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃✨

It’s safe to say the weekend didn’t go quite according to plan. Between a few unexpected hiccups and things not turning out the way we envisioned, it could have easily felt like a wash.

But looking around the table on Sunday, I was reminded that the best memories usually come from the unplanned moments.

It might not have been the holiday we originally mapped out, but it was filled with good food, lots of laughter, and the people who matter most.

Thanksgiving really isn't about everything going perfectly—it’s about what you make of the moments you have.

Grateful for the chaotic, beautiful, imperfect days like today. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend with the ones you love! ❤️🍂

🌾 Happy National Farmers Day! 🚜

Today, we take a moment to celebrate and thank the incredible farmers, ranchers, and agricultural families who work tirelessly from sunrise to sunset.
From the fresh food on our dinner tables to the essential goods we use every day, so much of our daily lives relies on their hard work, resilience, and care for the land and animals.

Farming isn't just a job—it's a way of life that sustains us all. 🌽🍎🥦

There is something uniquely magical about taking your garden full circle. When you dry seeds from this year’s harvest, you aren’t just saving food—you’re preserving memories, building self-reliance, and setting the stage for next years dreams!

Anyone else already planning for next year?? Just me?

Hey everyone, so bummed to say this, but it looks like we’re going to have to postpone our Friendsgiving. 🌧️🍂

With the forecast calling for rain and total washout weather, we won't be able to do the outdoor setup we had planned. Since we're short on indoor space to fit everyone comfortably, it makes the most sense to reschedule so we can actually enjoy it together without getting soaked!

I'll reach out in the group chat soon so we can pick a new date when the weather clears up. Thanks for understanding, and hang onto those appetite goals—we’re definitely still making this feast happen soon! 🦃🥧

🍁 Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! 🍂
Weekend! We are starting the holiday off with some much needed cleaning and food prep for gobble gobbles debut.

What are your favourite thanksgiving sides??

Here we enjoy: mashed potatoes, carrot turnip apple mash (yum) and usually a salad or green veggies.

Turkey, stuffing and gravy are a must!

Jay’s afternoon flock routine is simple:

Midday Release: Opening the doors sends the ducks waddling straight for their splash tub and the chickens off to find sunbathing spots. Jay refills the grain and waterers right away to replace the mud soup the ducks leave behind.

Maintenance: While they forage, Jay skims the pool and throws down fresh, dry straw to combat duck moisture.

Treats: A afternoon bucket of mealworms and watermelon keeps everyone happy—ducks dabbling in the water, chickens pecking around Jay's boots.

Evening Lockup: Sunset brings the chickens to their roosts and a quick herding job to get the ducks into their ground-level shelter. Latches secured, eggs collected, done.
