Homemade Vanilla Coffee Syrup, yes please!
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup water
1 Vanilla Bean Pod
Combine water and sugar in sauce pan. Cut vanilla bean in half lengthwise and then scrape out the vanilla beans. Add to pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat for 1-2 minutes whisking often. Allow to cool and pour in a glass jar along with the vanilla bean pods. Keeps in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
