Donna asked if I would quilt a quilt with a thick wool blanket as batting AND a fleece backing. I told her I was willing to try. It WAS thick, and I only did a simple meander along with outlining her appliques, but I love how it turned out, and so did she. To say this quilt is cozy is an understatement!

I just realized that I never posted the quilt I made for Hendrik! Hendrik is fond of animals, especially owls and chickens (the latter because they lay yummy eggs for him every day!). This is a mix-and-match of Elizabeth Hartman patterns, notably Fancy Forest and Fab Farm, with the eggs a requested addition.
