Here's a bit about me!
I’m a Northern Ontario-based Student Art Therapist with a background as a Speech Therapist and a passion for creative, trauma-informed care. As a q***r and neurodivergent Art Therapy Student, I bring lived experience and deep empathy to my work—especially with neurodivergent individuals no matter their age. I've worked with young kids, youth, and adults of varying ages.
My practice is grounded in feminist, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based values, with a strong belief in the healing power of art-making to explore identity, healing, and self-expression. I offer virtual and in person sessions for children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on supporting women, 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating trauma.
I enjoy using a variety of modalities—like drawing, digital collage, and sculpture—to help clients access their inner world and express what words sometimes can’t. I bring a playful and intuitive energy to the therapy space, where therapy isn’t about making perfect pictures—it’s about finding meaning in the mess.
If you're interested in Virtual Art Therapy, you could book an appointment with me through the Virtual Art Therapy Clinic at the following link: https://vatc.ca/ (Click the "Get Me Started" button and complete the self assessment then it will list you the Student Art Therapists that are available).
