I’m excited to share that my next in-person workshop is Weave an Everlea Gradient at in Gibsons BC on Saturday April 25th! This video shows students at the same workshops at Fibres West last year. It’s a fun time! Join me!

Learn the art of weaving an Everlea Gradient using tapestry techniques and a gorgeous array of plant dyed yarns, dyed by me, Janna, at Everlea Looms. You will create a one-of-a-kind 4”X4” weaving (or begin a 4”X6” and finish it at home) showcasing complex, stunning colour harmonies.. Your finished artwork can be hung on a wall or used as a coaster, or
vignette textile.

What is an Everlea Gradient?
Using Everlea’s naturally dyed organic merino yarns, you will learn to weave two gradient colourways woven at the same time working in opposite value directions alongside each other on your loom. You will weave one gradient from light to dark, while the other gradient weaves from dark to light.

We will talk about the ways in which colour theory plays a part in our colour decisions and Janna will share many samples of colour combinations that she has used and you are welcome to mimic, or create
your own unique combination of colours from dozens of colourway options. With the help of Janna, you get to choose the 10 colourways that you will use in your weaving.

Skill Level: This workshop is beginner friendly. Never woven before? No problem!

Supplies: $25 for just the yarn, or $88+ for yarn and loom depending on the loom you choose.

Workshop supplies must be prepaid here before April 19th:

My teen student has been learning how to use a knitting machine with me. Here’s her most recent hat ❤️

I felt inspired to make a tiny weaving comb necklace for a client who is taking her two new Everlea Looms travelling this month. Isn’t it the cutest?!

Would you want one like it? Should I make more for the shop 🤔?

It’s me! Thanks for being here to support my work ❤️

Happy weekend everyone!

I’m really enjoying a new dedicated space in my studio for weaving and thankful to the wool gods that I found my the grey wool to continue my Hwy 101 weaving with, after losing it during the series of floods that happened in my studio this past year that required me to pack things up and store them. I worried that I accidentally donated it during the chaos.

my studio is fully up and running again with a different layout that I’m really enjoying, including this weaving corner by the window, which was previously blocked by Tupperware and my big Tissart Tapestry Loom.

Happy Janna

I started 2026 out strong with classic indigo blues.

February colourways ship tomorrow. It’s very hard not sharing them right away. Every month I brainstorm how I can share my enthusiasm for the current colourways and all I come up with is video content from two months before when I was making it, but that seems silly because it seems so long ago. What do you think? Would you want to see my old dyeing videos in a monthly Colour Club Reveal Reel?

By the way, if you’re not familiar…
Everlea Colour Club is my monthly yarn subscription which delivers five naturally dyed yarns to your mailbox each month. Mystery colourways are dyed to create a unique gradient; each month’s colourways harmonizing with one another, as well as subsequent months’ beautifully.

Sign up for Everlea Colour Club before the 15th of the month, for your shipment going out around the 22nd of that month! You have a choice between yarn bobbins or mini skeins of my naturally dyed organic merino Everlea Fi*****ng yarn which is great for knitting, tapestry, weaving and embroidery. Held double it’s a fabulous worsted weight yarn. Join in the colour fun!
