Furniture of the Week

Dave loves custom work, but what he really loves is sneaking into the workshop between projects and building whatever he feels like building.

The problem? Since we no longer have the retail store, these “little side projects” have a habit of piling up in our garage. 😅

So, welcome to Furniture of the Week! Approximately once a week, I’ll post one of Dave’s just-for-fun builds. One piece available, reasonably priced, and always first come, first served.

Well… we’ve reached the end of the blowout. 😊

Over the last little while we’ve been finding homes for a few finished pieces that have been hanging around the shop, and these are the final three.

Dave’s on a bit of a roll blowing things out… 😅

After the vanity found its new home, we’re continuing to clear out a few more pieces.

This one is a handmade chimney cupboard with a warm stained wood interior and a lightly distressed black finish. It’s perfect as a pantry, linen cupboard, entryway storage, or wherever you need a little extra character.

6 feet high x 10” deep x 20” wide

Like everything we build, it’s handcrafted from real BC lumber, right here in Gibsons.

Now Dave’s decided it’s time to clear out a handful of beautiful custom pieces that have been sitting in the shop waiting for the right home.

Every once in a while, custom work doesn’t go exactly as planned. In this case, a communication mix-up meant we remade the piece to ensure our client received exactly what they wanted.

That’s just how Dave does business. After years of building custom furniture, situations like this are incredibly rare, but standing behind his work is never optional.

So this beautiful, brand-new bench is looking for a home! Built with the same care and craftsmanship that goes into every piece he makes.
