We have had a lot of people asking about the Back to School Bash, so we wanted to give you all a little update.
Yes, it is in the works…. We are trying our very best to make it happen and the date we are currently looking at is September 13th.
There are hurdles we are running into….
One being a lot of businesses have already done a tremendous amount of donating and sponsoring events this year.
The Back to School Bash is something we have always wanted to offer for FREE especially because families have just paid for school supplies, sports, and all the other expenses that come with back-to-school season. We love being able to give families a fun day without adding another cost! 💛
That being said, things like the bouncy castles and other activities come with a big cost, which is why we reach out to local businesses and community members to help us make this event possible.
Another hurdle is this unpredictable weather! We all know Alberta weather can change in a heartbeat… so of course it is making us a little nervous for that.
We started this event with the hope that other businesses and community members would jump on board and help us create something fun and special for everyone. We can’t do it alone, but together, we can make it happen!
So yes, that’s where we are at! We are hoping to get everything lined up and make it happen, and we will keep everyone updated as things come together! 🤞
