🕯️ **A Little Update from Ember Haven Candles** 🤒❤️

Well, apparently my weekend plans have been cancelled by my immune system. 😂

Instead of making candles, pouring wax melts, testing new fragrances, and getting some much-needed inventory done, I'll be spending my weekend becoming one with my bed, surrounded by side kick Congo, tissues, medication, and an unreasonable amount of tea. ☕🤧

Unfortunately, whatever little germ decided to move in doesn't seem interested in leaving anytime soon, so I'll likely be taking a few extra days to recover.

**What does this mean for Ember Haven?**

🕯️ My Etsy shop is still open, and you're more than welcome to browse and place orders!

📦 Processing and shipping may be a little slower than usual while I recover.

💌 I'll still be checking messages when I can, but responses might take a little longer or shorter than normal.

As much as I'd love to keep creating, my destination lately is apparently my bedroom.

🍂 **Happy Friday, friends!** 🕯️✨

I’ve been feeling a little yucky lately, so things have been moving a bit slower behind the scenes — but I’m *hopefully* on the mend and ready to get back into all the cozy fall things. 🧡

October has also started off a little quieter than it did last year, but honestly, I’m taking advantage of the extra breathing room! That means more time to bring in some new inventory, restock some favourites, and finally get to work on some **Halloween molds** I’ve been wanting to play around with. 👻🎃

So keep an eye out because there are definitely some fun things coming to Ember Haven this month!

One little heads-up: **I’ll be taking October 6th off** because I’ll be busy celebrating my birthday! 🎂🥳 Orders/messages will be picked back up after my little birthday break.

You know that moment on Thanksgiving morning when you walk into Grandma's kitchen and the whole house smells like pie? I poured that into a jar. 🕯️

Warm cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove up front, with sweet pumpkin, a splash of rum, and baked apple underneath, all wrapped up in creamy vanilla. It smells like a fresh pie cooling on the counter. ✨

A little transparency post 🖤

It was brought to my attention today that some information across my wax melt listings was inconsistent. That sucks, but I’m human, I make mistakes, and when I find one, I fix it.

Some older wording still referenced my original soy wax and 32 g sizing, while my newer listing photos and product details reflected my current coconut wax blend and 25 g minimum size.

For clarification: my current melts are made with a premium coconut wax blend sourced from reputable candle-making suppliers. No mystery wax or fragrance oils here. 😂

My smaller bars are labelled 25 g, although they typically weigh 30+ g. Because they're handmade, I underestimate the listed weight to allow for natural variation between pours.

I started with soy and eventually switched after experimenting with coconut wax. I LOVE working with it - the snap, the finish, and how forgiving it is. It's considerably more expensive, but I genuinely prefer the finished product.

Ember Haven is also a one-woman show - I make, photograph, label, list, package, source, market and manage everything myself. That's not an excuse for outdated information, just how a few old details slipped through.

I've now gone through my listings to make sure everything is clear and consistent. 🖤
