Well, I've just suspended my sales to the United States because of the Trump Tariffs.
The American public has been shielded from the explanations of how Tariffs work, and have come to believe the GASLIGHTING from the Oval Office that the world is paying the US huge Tariff revenues.
The reality is that the American buyer has to pay the tariffs when they receive the imported product.
Starting Monday, ETSY is no longer issuing shipping labels to its sellers because they don't want to assume the liability of the undelivered products with their excellent shipping guarantee.
Next week, when the American buyers receive their imported packages, they will be asked to pay tariffs to receive their products. As this will mostly come as a shock, many will likely be refused and returned to sender. I am not willing to refund all of those products and shipping costs due to ignorance of the import laws, so I won't be selling to the States until their great orange leader rescinds this "trumped up" bu****it.
I don't know how long it's going to take before the US public finally understands that they are being misguided, misinformed, and gaslighted, but I'm sure this can't go on forever.
Sorry folks, but I'm forced into this position.
