Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on how I can best support businesses in making their physical spaces work harder for them.

For a long time, my focus has been on taking massive projects from start to finish. I still love that work, but I’ve realized a gap: a lot of you don’t need a full-scale overhaul right now. You just know your space could be doing more for your business, but you don’t know where to start.

Your drywall is up, the paint is drying, and you’re just starting to think about desks, reception seating, or treatment chairs.

We see this all the time. But treating your furniture as a last-minute scramble is a massive missed opportunity for your budget and your overall design. When you plan your furniture holistically at the very beginning of a project, you get so much more value out of your investment:

Real Choices vs. "Whatever is in stock": If you plan ahead, you can select the exact commercial fabrics and finishes that elevate your brand. There is a massive misconception in the commercial design industry that I need to clear up right now...

Many business owners believe that hiring a designer means they will be pushed into overspending on a luxury aesthetic that has nothing to do with their daily operations.

I completely disagree with that approach.

I believe in being the practical, strategic design partner for real businesses. I know that budgets matter, operations matter, and staff matter- I have been in your shoes.

I do not believe that thoughtful design is a luxury reserved for high-budget projects. Instead, my team and I NICHE for design Inc., design within real-world constraints and view those constraints as opportunities for smart decision-making, not limitations.
