For this position as a Service Repair Installer Technician, we are seeking an experienced service technician with an expert knowledge of windows and doors. Our reputation is our guarantee and our employees should uphold our standard.
Skills:
* Must have worked with a variety of window and door types and brands,
* Knowledge of commercial window and doors an asset,
* Must be able to diagnose, problem solve, source parts, and understand the installation process,
* Having experience measuring windows and doors a strong asset,
* Having ability to install storm doors and sealed units an asset,
Roles and Responsibilities and Tasks will include:
- Service Calls which could include installing and/ or replacing weather-stripping, sweeps, window hardware, door hardware on Commercial and Residential
- Measuring and Replacing sealed units and or window units
- Measuring and replacing storm doors
- Second Measurements to confirm for Sales Manager
- Pick up materials and product from various supplier

J&M Window and Door Company is a long established window and door retailer. We work with PVC, fiberglass, aluminum, and wood windows for both residential and commercial window and door systems.

We are seeking an experienced service technician with an expert knowledge of windows and doors. Our reputation is our guarantee and our employees should uphold our standard.
We are seeking someone with the following skills:
* Must have worked with a variety of window and door types and brands,
* Knowledge of commercial window and doors an asset,
* Must be able to diagnose, problem solve, source parts, and understand the installation process,
* Must have clean appearance and dress neatly,
* Must have good communication abilities with customers, staff, and management of J&M,
* Must be literate, speak, and write excellent English,
* Must have a cell phone for taking pictures, and ability to email or text them to J&M,
* Must be responsible and reliable,
* Having experience measuring windows and doors a strong asset,
* Having ability to install storm doors and sealed units an asset,
* Having own hand tools an asset but not essential,
* Having your own vehicle is an asset but not essential.

This is a part time position which potentially could turn into full time.
We are looking for someone who can start immediately, work independently, offer great customer service and take pride in doing excellent work.
Normal hours would be 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. We will work with you to come up with a schedule that could work for all parties involved. Hours could range from 5 - 40 hours per week. Wage is negotiable based on experience and ability, and willingness to learn,.
