Moving into those cozy fall vibes with this bedroom 🍂

A study in texture creates an intimate feeling with walnut clad beams with grass cloth inlays, yards of luxurious plaid flannel drapery that frame mountain views, and a mix of velvet, leather, s**g and wool that welcome in the cooler seasons!

An email yesterday had me thinking about this project from a few years back that for some reason I didn’t share much of so here is a sample!

A hotel corridor Mountaineer Lodge Lake Louise in beautiful Lake Louise. A lot of thought actually went into this transitional space with the intent being to usher guests through a gallery-like homage to the history of the area.

Railway inspired wood panels add architectural definition to doorways, provide access points to plenum space, and add highlight to historic photography.

Collaboration with VICE FABRICATION | Résidentiel & Commercial on custom designed and fabricated metal room numbers establish interest and ease of wayfinding.

The textures and finishes were all intentionally chosen to create a light and earthy palette in what was once a very dark and dreary space. Check out the last pic for proof!

When the hardest working space has the most personality!

And this laundry room is full of it. From the buffalo check tile floor, the cutie dog wallpaper, and the coffered ceiling designed to conceal attic access this space was meant to make laundry time just a little more fun and who wouldn’t want that?

A little green with envy 😉

The absolute star of this kitchen is the stunning green and all of the other characters are supporting actors to bring down the house. Thoughtful elements brought in with subtle textural nods to fashion detailing come together to create this show-stopping kitchen!

A powder room but give it personality that pops!

This little space was given a boutique feel with micro chevron tile, custom wood and metal open vanity, a peek-a-boo contrast reveal for the sink, and the chicest woodland wallpaper 🦊

This dreamy guest bedroom started out with a beautiful quilt handmade by my client’s mother and a vintage clock as our jumping off point, adding just the right pop of colour in an otherwise calm and collected palette.

A space made for get togethers with friends and family. This airy dining area is adjacent to the open kitchen and living room and has happily hosted big parties and intimate dinners alike.

From the statement light fixture to the cedar beams, gorgeous full length drapery and walnut lined upper cabinets to display the home owner’s copper mug collection (for many a Moscow Mule!), every detail was thought out to create an inviting space perfect for hosting.
