Le Shed Born and raised in Hope, BC, I worked at the same office for 22 years, where my mom had worked before me for 24 years. Cindy

When that office closed, I had to decide what to do at the age of 40. A space near my house had come available, and I decided to go for it and open a shop. I closed that sooner than I would have liked, but that was life. 10 years later, again with a fairly major life event (heart surgery, and dad passing away), a different space near my house became available, and .... I opened a new shop, Le Shed

, which lasted from 2018 to 2022 (through the pandemic, yes). I renewed my business license as a home-based business, but am only an official stockist for one of the brands that I carried - Iron Orchid Designs. Although I am no longer a retailer for the other brands, I still have stock to sell... of Debi's Design Diary DIY Paint, Paint Pixie brushes, limited designs of Roycycled Decoupage Paper and the very little remaining of FAT Paint. Book an appointment for ANY day of the week, ,11 to 6. We ship within Canada as well as to the U.S..

Tried out The Connoisseur's Library 6" x 6" stamp from this year's IOD Summer collection, and used a small-ish design from the Athenaeum Gilded 8" x 12" Transfer on an old blank jounral I had, as well.

Le Shed is an official IOD Stockist (since 2019). We are sbop by appointment, ANY day of the week.

The other brands I used to be a retailer for (but no longer), I still have some stock to sell - DIY Paint, Paint Pixie Brushes and 13 designs of Roycycled Decoupage Paper. It would be fantastic if you can let me know before your appointment, which products you are interested in. Thanks! Cindy

Not that I've been inundated with sales or new customers, BUT.... I've gone ahead and ordered a few of the other IOD items that I had not pre-ordered. Coming soon are: the Bookish Mould, Orleans Stamp, Fern Fables Transfer and the Dessins de Broderie 6x6 Stamp. Will add pics when they arrive!

Happy Mother's Day.

Mom never got to see my house, the yard, the gardens that I planted, my first shop (La Lune Lavande) after the office closed, my second time trying a shop (Le Shed), clearing out the house we grew up in, and all the other internal struggles along the way, but I'm sure she's been here on the journey.

Yes, yes, yes.... the IOD Summer 2026 Collection is here, and I will be uploading pics tonight. I did do a "live" to show you what I have in stock. For now, here's a video by one of the IOD Artisans, who was one of the two IOD Stockists I saw online back in 2019, and whose videos prompted me to become a retailer that year. This is SOOO good.
