I opened The Deerstalker Antiques & Engravings in Barrington Street way back in the days. After retiring from my managing job for Nestle in Ontario, I opened up 5 nostalgic confectionery and memorabilia stores. Now we want to be closer to home again and decided to move to White's Lake and have purchased the old Candleriggs Building ( better known as former General Store which is dating back to 185

7). There is no better way to display my huge selection of antiques paired with contemporary art and gifts. It will blow you away just strolling through the shop to discover all those hidden gems. Since purchasing the building and getting it ready to reopen, I made sure to use the services and small businesses in our neighborhood. For me it is important to have a good relationship with them and support each other. I have many plans but sometimes not enough hours in the day ;)

Additionally we are running a little two bedroom AirBnB which is located right above the shop. With a separate entrance and a breathtaking view it is the perfect location to start your adventures around the Peggy's Cove area. Very scarce and limited edition of some of Lorna Bailey’s art ware. Each piece is signed by her and very limited runs. Looks like Clarice Cliff or Susie Cooper but done in England late 90’s
There are even a couple of pieces she did of the Twin Towers she did these a few months before they came down in September
