🔔When Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces, the mind slips from the orderly world of facts and schedules into the deeper waters of memory, emotion, and the unseen currents of the soul. Words blur, plans shift, and the past rises like mist from the riverbanks. This movement resonates strongly with XIII La Morte, the card of necessary endings and profound transformation. La Morte does not represent literal death, but the clearing of what has completed its cycle. The skeletal figure moves steadily across the field, harvesting old growth so that something new may eventually rise. Under Mercury retrograde in Pisces, this harvesting often happens within the mind and heart. Old conversations resurface. Long-buried feelings return for acknowledgement. Stories we once told ourselves begin to dissolve.
Pisces softens the blade of La Morte. Instead of a violent severing, the process becomes more like tides washing away footprints in the sand. What is no longer alive within us quietly loosens its grip. This period invites us to release outdated narratives, forgive what cannot be changed, and allow certain chapters to close without resistance.
