What a wonderful month…..full of vibrant colours and cooler weather.🍁🍂 A perfect time of year for watching grandkids playing their sports, hanging with friends and craving out some time creating more items for my upcoming craft shows. Take some time out to enjoy these marvellous colours along the way.

Can you believe it’s fall already??🍁

I’ve had a pleasant ~ but very busy ~ summer!
I’ve made the move to a small town and I’m still working on getting Bits by Barb organized and settled into its new home. 🏡❤️

With all the changes this year, I’m excited to say it looks like I’ll be able to participate in some local Christmas Craft shows toward the tail end of the year. 🎄✨

I’ll keep you posted as dates and locations are confirmed. I’m looking forward to getting back into sharing my handmade creations, and seeing some familiar faces ~ and hopefully meeting some new ones too! 🥰

Thank you all for your continued support and patience while I get settled. It means more than you know. ❤️

Well spring has finally arrived but of course it is snowing where I am. ❄️🌨️
Spring is a time for baseball to return, kids soccer teams being picked, spring cleaning, robins arriving and flowers to start showing their heads. 😂😂 That last part might take some time. Whatever this season brings you I hope it’s full of sunshine and smiles.

2026 will bring some new adventures for me. I’m moving a bit further east, in Ontario, to a small town on the water, this summer. During this time Bits by Barb will be on an extended holiday but will be back in time for the fall season.

How about this ornament to track Santa on his travels. Available as a Santa, Snowman or a Reindeer. Scan the QR code to follow his progress through the night skies on Christmas Eve. You can purchase this ornament at We Made It in Cobourg and Port Hope.

Beat the cold and come downtown tonight — Cobourg is open late until 8, and We Made It is cozy, bright, and full of holiday magic.

We’ve put out massive sales from select vendors, and the hot c***r and snacks are ready to go. Nights like this are where small businesses truly feel the love from our community. When you choose to shop here, you’re supporting real families, real makers, and real dreams — not big box stores.

Thank you for showing up for us. Thank you for choosing local. And thank you for helping us keep this little handmade community thriving, even on the coldest days. 💛
