With the help of microloans through Kiva and the Chajulense Association of Women United for Life, Magdalena has expanded her traditional clothing store and continues to create beautiful textiles rooted in her culture. Giving back is a core part of our mission here at Glow & Behold. Twelve years ago, I had the privilege of volunteering at ’s thrift store and soup kitchen, where I saw firsthand the incredible heart and impact they bring to our community. They go above and beyond to care for Kelowna’s homeless population, meeting essential needs from a hot meal to haircuts and dental services.

With the cold months ahead, our community’s vulnerable members are at greater risk, and your support matters more than ever.
