A little look back at Bronte & Brett’s beautiful day at Hotel Eldorado 🤍

We had the pleasure of being part of their celebration through day-of coordination, décor, and florals, bringing all of those pieces together to create a day that felt colourful, warm, and full of personality.

The floral design brought together bright pinks, yellows, reds, whites, and blues, while dusty blue linens, gold chairs, gold accents, and soft candlelight tied everything together beautifully.

We loved creating a lounge area for guests to relax and visit, and the little details carried all the way through to the cake, where fresh flowers were arranged around the cutting cake for a pretty, garden-inspired finish.

It’s always such a joy to see a wedding come together from all those individual details into one beautiful celebration.

There’s something really special about having your wedding planning and florals considered together from the very beginning.

Because your flowers don’t exist separately from the rest of your wedding.

They need to work with your venue, your tables, your colour palette, your timeline, your guest experience, and the overall feeling you’re trying to create.

When I’m involved as both your wedding planner and florist, I get to look at all of those pieces together.

We can talk about the big picture, work through the logistics, and then bring that vision to life through the floral design.

It also means you don’t have to be the one connecting all those dots behind the scenes.

Something blue doesn’t have to mean a blue garter tucked away under your dress.

Your flowers can be such a beautiful way to incorporate the tradition while still making it feel completely your own.

A few delicate blooms tucked into your bouquet. Blue woven through your centrepieces. A statement floral installation. Or even just the smallest unexpected pop of colour.

There are so many beautiful ways to make your something blue feel intentional rather than like an afterthought.

And if you’re drawn to blue, don’t be afraid to lean into it. It can be soft and romantic, bold and unexpected, or somewhere beautifully in between.

Because traditions are even better when you make them your own.

There will always be another wedding trend to try, another beautiful colour palette to save, and another décor idea making its way around Pinterest.

But one thing I hope never gets lost in all of that?
The guest experience.

Because your wedding isn’t just something your guests look at. It’s something they experience.

Can they comfortably move through the space?
Is there somewhere to sit and take a break?
Is the timeline giving them time to actually enjoy the celebration?
Can they easily find the bar, the washrooms, their table, or the ceremony space?

Those details might not make it onto your Pinterest board, but they can make a huge difference in how your wedding feels.

& I think that’s what thoughtful planning and design should be about.

Creating something beautiful, yes.
But creating an experience that feels welcoming, comfortable, and intentional, too 🤍
