It’s the full experience. Seeing the design come to life, feeling the energy of the finished space and watching each detail contribute to its overall look and feel.

Located in the Movala building in Lower Pandosy, Skå will bring a completely new thermal spa experience to Kelowna. We can’t wait to see it all come together.

Planning a commercial space in Kelowna? There are some important building permit requirements you need to know.

The City of Kelowna has updated and clarified requirements for commercial building permits, and some projects may now require a registered architect as part of the permit process.

This can include shell spaces, larger commercial spaces, certain retail, office, medical and personal-service businesses, and projects involving fire separations.

The good news? You don't have to navigate it alone.

Sticks + Stones has collaborated with a local registered architect so we can help coordinate the process: from initial feasibility and interior design through permit documentation and professional coordination.

Having worked alongside their team to help create their new space, we’ve seen how thoughtfully Dress for Success supports women as they prepare for interviews, employment and new opportunities. Becoming a drop-off spot felt like a meaningful way for us to continue supporting that work and make donating a little easier for our community.

A first look at what’s to come at Flex Academy.

This 43,550-square-foot, two-storey facility is being designed as more than a traditional school. With flexible spaces that support movement, connection and different styles of learning, Flex Academy represents an exciting new direction for education.

Carla is also proud to serve as an Ambassador for the Learning Without Limits campaign, helping shape how students learn for generations to come.

A look behind the scenes at our recent site visit to SKA Thermal Spa.

Site visits give us the opportunity to connect with our clients, experience the space firsthand and review how the design is taking shape. Construction is an evolving process, so staying flexible allows us to address new considerations and make thoughtful adjustments along the way.

We’re incredibly grateful to have collaborated with the Dress for Success team to help bring this space to life. Designed to feel bright and full of energy, the new location features vibrant pops of the brand colours and thoughtfully planned spaces.This is a space where women can feel supported and take their next steps forward.
