We have had an eventful 2026!

- In February a water line to our fridge sprung a leak 💧and flooded our kitchen through to our basement. We had to pack up a lot of our stuff and when the repairs were completed we lived between the basement and the suite, luckily no candles or supplies were harmed in the flood!

-Just when we thought that things were settling down and we were almost unpacked and resettled, a car crashed into our yard in June, destroying our swingset and big section of our cedars. We are still in the process of getting those repairs completed. 🌳🌳

In the meantime we have been trying to get out and enjoy the summer to take our mind off the house and travel to see some family and friends.

We know we have not been too active on here and we were low on stock Shop Makers Orchard Park for a while, so we just wanted to let everyone know we are still here! 😮‍💨 Just catching our breath now and happy to be back in the swing of things ♥️

That’s a wrap on our holiday markets for 2025! We have been absolutely blown away by all of your support this year 🥰

Thank you to all of the wonderful organizers that put on such wonderful events and chose our little business to be a part of them, we are so grateful. ♥️

Our last market of the season is this Sunday at Mamawapowin from 12 - 4. Everyone is welcome! Please join us to celebrate the solstice, support some indigenous artists, and get your last minute gift shopping done! We hope to see you there!

Hooray!! We have already surpassed last year’s donation to and we still have 2 markets to go! And we are also stocking Santa Paws

Help us smash our goal this year and see if we can double last year’s donation of $250.

Come see us at this Saturday, December 14 from 1 - 7, and enjoy some mulled w**e and soft pretzel while you are at it!

Then Sunday, December 21 we will be at Mamawapowin with from 12-4.

This weekend was amazing! We were blown away by the support Prospera Market, and we are so appreciative of all the hard work that went into organizing this event. 🎄♥️

We have been attending this market for many years as shoppers and we never miss it. It was so different seeing it all from behind the scenes and made us appreciate it even more.

Years ago, when this market first started they had live demos and you could learn how to make little appetizers and cocktails. I would plan my visit around the times for the demos. The best recipe I got was for some homemade eggnog from a local bartender and I quickly jotted everything down in my Notes app. Now every single Christmas I make a big batch of that eggnog and I get so many compliments on it. It truly is the best eggnog I have ever had.

So it feels right that at our first year attending as a vendor, our Spiced Eggnog candle was a hot item and we sold all but one!

Thank you again for an incredible weekend and we look forward to next year! If you want the recipe for the eggnog just let me know and I would be happy to share! 📝

Day 2 of is a wrap! Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and supported so far! We are looking forward to the third and final day tomorrow!

Come out for a Sunday Funday and shop local at Prospera Place from 10-5 tomorrow 🎄 you can also pick up a coffee or tea from the café at Prospera or a w**e, b**r or c***r from the concession to sip while you shop.
