By the grace of the Almighty, we’ve successfully completed another milestone on Feb 21 2025 —another successful event in the second year of the Md. Amjad Hossain Memorial Scholarship for Underprivileged Youth Education at Deopara Primary School, Deopara, Munshiganj.

This year, we awarded scholarships to 18 students for their academic excellence and 2 students based on financial need. In addition, we provided basic school supplies—khata, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and pencil boxes—to 121 students.

We are deeply grateful to all our customers and well-wishers. Your support makes it possible for us to run our business and, in turn, fund most of this scholarship program from our profits. A special thank you to my parents Dr Anjuman Shahriar and Dr Shahria Alam for contributing the remaining funds and always being by our side.

This project was carried out in collaboration with the Canadian Association for Bangladesh Development (CABD), Inc. Together, we’ve made a difference, but there’s still so much more to do.

💛 Thank You for Making a Difference! 💛

Dear friends,

We cannot thank you enough for supporting Artistry Alcove. Because of your recent purchases, we were able to fund three wheelchairs for individuals with disabilities. These wheelchairs, funded entirely from the profits of your support, were distributed by Zoom Bangladesh on November 16th during the Street Child Festival. Seeing the joy and renewed mobility these wheelchairs brought was truly heartwarming—and it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

We’re also excited to share that will collaborate with Zoom Bangladesh on our Empowering Self-Employment program. Through this initiative, we’ll provide sewing machines and cobbler kits to families of homeless children, helping them build sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.

In Munshigonj, where we launched our scholarship program in 2023 with an initial donation of $1500 to support underprivileged students with education expenses, we’re taking our efforts further. We’ve introduced new initiatives like backyard gardens and small poultry farms to help families grow their own food and create stable incomes.

Today, we came across the GoFundMe campaign for Dr. Mahmud Hasan’s fight for relief and recovery, and we were deeply moved. No matter how successful or well-known, anyone can face hardships at any point in life. It’s in these times that our compassion and support can make a real difference.

Dr. Mahmud (Matt) Hasan, CEO of aiRESULTS, is an accomplished academic and ethical AI leader. A brilliant mind from Bangladesh, he ranked first in the Dhaka Board’s Secondary School Certificate exam in 1969 and later earned an MBA from Wharton and a Ph.D. in economics from Brown University. The student movement in Bangladesh, fighting to abolish the unjust quota system in government jobs, has faced a devastating crackdown. Over a hundred students have lost their lives, and thousands more have been injured. These future leaders have faced further violence, arrests, and intimidation from authorities. Such violence has also deeply affected their families, causing immense distress and anxiety. Many of these students were potential earners for their families, who now face financial hardships. These courageous young individuals and their families need our immediate help with medical treatment, legal assistance, and ongoing support.
We stand in solidarity with the victims of the student movement. Their courage and sacrifice have left an indelible mark on our hearts, and now, more than ever, they need our support.
We, Saniya and Sabrina, run a small company called Artisti Alcove. In the past, we have donated to various causes, but this time we feel compelled to contribute to the Bangladeshi students who have become victims of a heinous government attack while advocating for quota reform and freedom of speech.
