Look at the sky!
After spending a few hours reorganizing my studio…finally my feet up with this view. The water is calm, my new plants are growing and the sun slowly going down. The clouds so fluffy.
I put on my desk a few pieces from my daughter. I love.✨🌸

All hand fabricated in sterling silver. Some are made in porcelain clay too!
Sculpted, formed, carved, hammered, textured, fired, polished …right here in my studio. Sometimes a jewellers torch is used and/or a kiln is also used to create my jewelry.

Oh! ✨Is Spring bringing you joy and sunshine lately! Happy Easter weekend! It’s pretty sunny here and the trees are already turning greener, the wild flowers becoming a forest rising from beneath!
Such a beautiful time if you look the right way, you can see the world transforming daily, maybe as a garden if you want.

Painting created with encaustic/natural beeswax. Using heated, molten beeswax mixed with damar resin and pigments. Fusing layers with a hot flame, carving textures, layering and embedding materials, mixed media, gold leaf on wood panels. New pieces on my art wall. I am loving the light here!

🌹🌸I was away for a while…unpacking a few more things for my new studio and found this. A few flowers pressed in books and this work that I embroidered delicately, a textile hand printed and some botanicals from my own garden. I remember…so peaceful, so calming. And now, It seems to help bring a sense of harmony and calm to the chaos so abundant in the world lately. Moments for Inner peace and reflection.

Perhaps what we need most is one hour of nothing planned, nothing to attend or to do.
Simply to have space to breathe and wonder. How do you feel about this?
