The Baltic Homestead is the home and studio of local artist Liz Heeley-Ray. A little piece of heaven tucked away on a remote hill overlooking the Darnley Basin. Beautiful gardens, chickens, 3 kitties and picturesque views surround the property where her studio/ shop are located.The shop features original designs, hand painted on hand made tops, dresses, tunics, breach coverups and childrens dresse

s, made from 100% linens and cottons,......all machine washable and dryable. It also features a number of hand painted accessories from purses, tote bags, ecoprinted sunglass cases, aprons, make-up bags, silk scarves, pillows, lavender heating bags, seed packets from the flowers in her garden, ecoprinted silk or wool images framed, ecoprinted wall hangings, hung from the driftwood of the local beach, to even some pin-felted island scenes. The process involves transferring the natural tannins from leaves, berries and flowers onto the target piece, thus creating artistically pleasing, natural designs . So come find her and see what she has to offer, experience a truly magical home but be careful, you may never want to leave!

Our Story

Opening June 29th, 2019. Fleurs de Liz Studio is the home of local artist Liz Heeley-Ray and her shop, Fleurs de Liz Hand-Painted Garments & Crafts. A little piece of heaven tucked away on a remote hill in Baltic overlooking the Darnley Basin on Prince Edward Island. Beautiful gardens and picturesque views surround The Baltic Homestead property where her studio and shop are located.

The shop features original designs hand-painted on clothing made from fine linens, cottons and h**p, which she sews herself. The shop also features a number of hand-painted accessories from visors, purses, beach bags and f***y packs to glasses cases, pot holders and aprons. Liz would be happy to chat with you about her multitude of talents and life experiences. So come find her and see what she has to offer, but be careful you may never want to leave!
