Happy October!

Quick update since it's been 4 full months since I've posted anything on social media. Oops. 😬

I am still baking up a storm!

📳 Social media is always the first to drop off my to-do list, but my order form is still active and I'm still baking lots!
📷 The pictures are just clogging up my phone storage instead of getting out onto your feeds 😅

🥧 Unfortunately, I do not have capacity for Thanksgiving orders this year. Between two weddings booked that week and things in my personal schedule, I just can't find a way to fit Thanksgiving baking in too. I have loved making pies for everyone the last 3 Thanksgiving, and hope to be back for Thanksgiving 2027 next year, but 2026 will have to be skipped.

These pretty florals were from mother's day weekend. Busted out the wedding dress as a backdrop again and smiled because when I wore that dress on mother's day weekend 14 years ago, I had no idea it would be used as a backdrop for baking pics one day 😅

Nurse Appreciation week was recently 🥳

Nurses work long hours, always on their feet...serving others' needs, constantly pivoting and being interrupted, and show care to their patients AND their families (anecdote below 👀 🐠).

I hope these nurses enjoyed their cookies and felt the appreciation 😋

Fun Fact: I named my goldfish after my brother's NICU nurse when I was four. Then, 25 years later, she was my daughter's NICU nurse for a couple days 😍 She had made such an impression on one of her tiny patients' big sisters with her care, and it was so fun to come full circle with the next generation and be able to share this little story with her 🥰
