There’s a certain kind of happiness I find in old things. A feeling that’s hard to explain, but one that makes my soul feel a little more at home.

Maybe it’s the history, the imperfections, the stories hidden in every worn edge and faded finish. Or maybe it’s the feeling of being transported to a time when life moved a little slower… when conversations happened face to face, evenings weren’t spent staring at screens, and the world didn’t demand so much of our attention.

A time when things were made to last, homes were filled with character, and beauty could be found in the simplest of things.

When I’m surrounded by antiques, I find myself imagining the homes they once belonged to, the people who treasured them, and all the little moments they’ve witnessed along the way.

And for a little while, the noise of the modern world fades away.

Maybe I was just born with an old soul. Maybe I find comfort in things that carry a little history, a little imperfection, and a whole lot of character.

Whatever it is, this is my kind of therapy. No appointments needed, just old things, beautiful stories, and the quiet happiness of finding something that speaks to my soul. 🤎

Some people find happiness in new things. I find mine in the things that have already lived a little.

POV: You’ve officially become obsessed with antiques and old European design. 🤎✨

You can’t go anywhere without noticing the details. Every doorway, every beautiful piece of furniture, every worn finish and little imperfection becomes inspiration.

You find yourself wondering about the history, studying the craftsmanship, learning about different eras, and mentally redecorating every room you walk into.

“Wouldn’t that look beautiful at home?”

Every corner you turn brings a new idea. Every antique tells a story. Every beautiful space makes you want to recreate a little piece of that magic in your own home.

And that’s the thing about falling in love with antiques and old European design… it becomes so much more than furniture. It’s a passion for history, character, craftsmanship, and creating spaces that feel collected rather than decorated.

Sometimes the best finds are right here in our own backyard! 🤎

We recently came across this absolutely stunning sideboard locally, and we couldn’t resist bringing it into the shop. With its rich wood tones, intricate floral inlay, ornate detailing, and beautifully carved legs, this piece has all the character and elegance that make antique furniture so special.

We’re currently working on it, giving it the attention it deserves, and we couldn’t help but share a little sneak peek of its potential. Imagine this beauty in a dining room, styled with collected treasures, fresh greenery, and candlelight. Simply timeless. 🕯️🌿

A final look at this beautiful bedroom set. For the love of birds!! I can’t get enough and am so happy how it all turned out.
A little patience, imagination and many hours….she is done!
Will be delivering her to her owner this weekend. Always sad to see finished pieces leave. But that only means I’m ready for a new challenge and project.
