A little something new for our creative toolboxes! 🍂

Creative Memories has introduced seven new decorative die-cutting and embossing bundles, and there are some lovely designs to play with!

The new bundles include Autumn, Winter, Christmas, Spring, Summer, Hanukkah and General Celebrations.

I love how these tools give us another way to add texture, detail and dimension to our scrapbook pages. Sometimes it’s those little finishing touches that make a layout feel complete.

A little launch special: All seven bundles are 10% off through Friday, October 16 at 10 AM Pacific.

I’m especially drawn to the seasonal designs, and I’m already thinking about ways to incorporate them into future layouts and classes.

Have you had a chance to look at the new designs? I’d love to hear which ones catch your eye!

🐈‍⬛ A Little Midnight Magic with Fluffy! 🎃

There’s never a dull moment with this curious boy around!

Fluffy loves to keep me company while I’m working in the garden, and apparently an empty wheelbarrow is the perfect place to supervise my gardening adventures! 🤣

I couldn’t resist scrapbooking these photos of him investigating everything, including the fish in our pond!

I had so much fun playing with the new Midnight Magic collection from Creative Memories. The rich oranges, moody purples and whimsical Halloween details were perfect for capturing Fluffy’s mischievous personality.

Who says Halloween collections have to be just for Halloween? Sometimes they’re perfect for a curious cat and his everyday adventures! 🧡

Oh, how I love this boy! 💙

Shopping with Myles is always an adventure, and being his Grammie makes it even more fun!

Honestly, I could spend the entire day just playing with him, watching him explore and seeing the excitement in his little face. And yes, every once in a while, Grammie might just spoil him with a new toy! 😉

This big car carrier was one of those special finds, and months later, it’s still one of his favourite trucks to pull out when he comes to Grammie and Papa’s house.

It’s funny how the simplest little outings turn into some of the sweetest memories.

And that’s exactly why I scrapbook. 💙

Sometimes creativity just needs a little playtime. 🍂✂️

Every once in a while I like to pull out something different and play with products from outside of what I normally use. These papers and embellishments came from my Scrapbook & Cards Today Create Together subscription, and I had so much fun spending some time with them!

I’ve always believed that creativity doesn’t have to come with rules - use what you love, regardless of the manufacturer. ❤️ Trying different colours, styles and products every now and then actually gives my creativity a little boost and often sends me back to my regular supplies with completely new ideas.

The single-page layout was designed by one of the Create Together teachers, and I thought it was perfect for capturing a little snapshot of Greyson at six months old for my album. 🥹

And then, of course, I had to keep playing! The double-page layout is my own design using the same collection and will be going into Greyson’s album. I love that the same photos and products can tell the story in two completely different ways.

At the end of the day, I think the best creative supplies are simply the ones that make you want to create. ❤️

And this little face certainly makes it easy. 🥰

Well… I’ve been a little quiet over here! 🤍

Life has been wonderfully FULL lately - between Loon Lake, family, and celebrating Matt & Lindsey’s engagement, my creative little corner of the internet has been a bit neglected. But I’m back…and Creative Memories picked a pretty fun week for it! 🎉

It’s Creative Memories’ Birthday Week, and there’s a special birthday gift up for grabs!

Spend $145 CAD and you can choose the Birthday Bundle FREE, featuring:

🎂 A brand-new sketch book — you know I love a good sketch!
✂️ A Simple Page Kit
💙 And these seriously cute Creative Memories tool magnets

I’m especially excited to get my hands on that sketch book. I have a feeling we’ll be putting it to good use around here! 😉

If you’ve had a few things sitting on your wish list, this might be a pretty good week to check them off and get yourself a birthday present at the same time. 🎁

Happy Birthday, Creative Memories! 🥳
And hello again from me - I have lots of creating to catch you up on! 🤍
