The colour combinations in this order is so moody yet so fresh and bright! A mix of burgundy, a little lime zesty green, creamy whites and a whole lot of texture. 🤍

Instead of matching every flower from the inspiration, we focused on recreating the feeling: dramatic colour contrast, airy movement, layered textures, and that slightly wild, garden-grown look.

And honestly? Local flowers understood the assignment. 👏

Get ready for a fulfilling day learning about large floral installations, connecting with friends in our flower community and getting our hands dirty!

This isn’t just your average workshop. It’s about getting your hands in the flowers, experimenting with technique, and creating alongside other passionate flower people.

At Bloei Atelier, you’ll be:
✨ Exploring foam-free, sustainable mechanics alongside traditional floral techniques
✨ Creating your own arrangement to explore your personal design and add to your portfolio
✨ Working in small groups to build large-scale floral installations valued at $10,000+
✨ Learning directly from three experienced florists: Larysa, Carli // Wild Rabbit Flowers, and Vancouver Florist

✨ Learning how to translate inspiration into fully local floral designs, using seasonal flowers in unexpected ways

Our theme for this atelier is Harvest Florals 🌼🍂 We’ll be using in-season flowers to create stunning and dramatic sculptures celebrating the warmth of the season.

She’s a freak in the spreadsheets: Meet Jenise! 💐✨ Around here, we like to call her The Growth Strategist... but honestly, she’s a little bit of everything.

She’s constantly looking for ways to help Floral Support grow with intention, whether that’s forecasting, floral pricing, improving processes, or finding new opportunities that make our business (and yours!) even better.

But don’t let the spreadsheets fool you... she’s also someone who loves a good laugh 😄 Jenise never says no to a good joke and brings so much fun and energy into the shop every day.

About last night… We had the best time creating alongside some seriously talented people in our floral community!

Together, we turned buckets of beautiful Farm-to-Florist blooms into these gorgeous centrepieces and we loved seeing how differently everyone interpreted their flowers.

One of our favourite things about Farm-to-Florist is just how much you can get from locally grown, in-season flowers. Fuller blooms, stronger stems, longer life, and so much beauty packed into every bucket. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought your own style to the table. We’re so lucky to have such a creative floral community around us. 🌸

You’re invited! ✨ We’re so excited to host our second Farm-to-Florist Floral Design Series, and this time, we’re creating centrepieces together.

If you’ve been curious about our Farm-to-Florist program, this is the perfect opportunity to experience it firsthand.

All you got to do is send us your inspiration photos, and we’ll curate a custom bucket of locally grown, in-season flowers that captures the feeling of your design. Then, you’ll bring it all to life by creating your own centrepiece.

Join us for a night of creativity, local flowers, and connecting with fellow florists.

One of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to floral design is that you need to match every stem in the inspiration photo.

You don’t.

What you’re really recreating is the feeling of the design.

In this inspiration, that’s the soft white palette, airy movement, layered textures, and lush, garden-inspired shape.

Now look at what we pulled.

Not a single flower is the same—but the feeling is.

Instead of sourcing identical flowers, we selected local blooms that create the same scale, texture, movement, and overall mood. Sometimes hydrangeas aren’t in season. Other times, they simply don’t fit the budget (like this design!). Both are completely okay.

As florists, our job isn’t to recreate every ingredient—it’s to understand why a design works.

As your local wholesaler, it’s our job to help you get there.

That’s exactly what our Farm-to-Florist program is all about. We take your inspiration photos and build recipes around what’s naturally blooming in BC, helping you create designs that stay true to your vision while making the most of the season and your budget.

Because great design isn’t about matching flowers. It’s about capturing the feeling. 🤍
