🔴Sold🔴An incredible piece of WWII history This is the famous and hard to find “Flick Your Ashes on Hitler’s Hearth” ashtray/souvenir that contains an actual piece of the fireplace mantle from Adolf Hitler’s infamous Berghof residence in Berchtesgaden, Germany.

Following V-E Day, the 101st airborne and the 3rd infantry division were the first to occupy the bombed out residence. Executives from the well known Weatherhead company flew to Germany and salvaged a 30lb chunk of stone mantle remains directly from the ruined mountain retreat for the exact purpose of making this souvenir pieces to give/sell to allied soldiers. Weatherhead had parts manufacturing plants in both Ohio and St.Thomas Ontario in 1946 🇨🇦
