As a follow up to Sunday’s post, that same customer wanted The Drummer design made up as a set. I had previously posted the first one but wanted to share them completed and side by side. I wish my pictures matched better 🫤 There is something about this design that hits spiritually and it just really hits me in the deepest part of my emotions. I hope they make you feel that same feeling ❤️

I know I posted one of these before but in keeping with Easter, I thought I’d post them together. My customer requested one for themselves and one as a gift. They chose different glass for His cowl and I love the darker one because of the texture making it look like cloth folding on itself. But yet the lighter glass looks like linen. I’m not sure which one they kept and which one they gifted but I hope they are everything they envisioned.

Different angles at different times of the day. I haven't decided if I'm disappointed in the color of the petals. The glass is actually much more purple when it's not in the window so was surprised at the merlot undertones. But I am happy with how the yellow popped. I love a bright yellow!

In keeping with St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I made a few more Celtic knots. I was under the impression that they should always be green but I discovered that they can be a variety of colors. So that is what I did! They also led to discussions about the correct pronunciation of the word Celtic. Is it a soft c or a hard c? How do you pronounce it? I could look that up but it’s more fun to have a conversation 😃. May the luck of the Irish be with you!

It been awhile since I’ve been tempted to keep one of the pieces I make. This one is greatly tempting me! Stained glass artists continually hold glass choices up to the over head light, the window and/or light boxes to see the nuances of raw glass and to help place the pattern pieces. But a person really never knows for sure until the piece is completed and hanging in the window. This one turned out better than I expected and I love it! And I had to share its beauty from different times of the day. I hope it brings a smile to your face today ☺️

This was a piece I made for my sister’s 60th birthday and my BIL’s retirement. I love, love, LOVE the background glass. It looks like satin. I thought they might hang it at their cabin as that is their happy place. But they installed it in the dining area window at home as that gets the best sun. Can’t wait to see it in the summer sun!

No daytime picture for Dino Buddy. I had to work into Saturday evening getting pieces ready to hang at the Highlevel Diner early Sunday morning. But he helped me cheer on the Flin Flon Bombers in their game against Yorkton. I’m sure we made the difference as FF went on win 6-3 😃

You know the feeling when the stars align and you cane hear the angels sing?!?! This is how I feel about this piece I just completed. The purple glass for the wisteria petals couldn’t have been more perfect in fading from dark to light. The iridized background glass was more than perfect. And of course I couldn’t get the perfect picture so hopefully between all of them you’ll see when I mean. Unless spoken for beforehand, it will be available for purchase at the Highlevel Diner after next Sunday.

It’s hard to see but the iridescent pieces have both pink and green colors and that’s what pulls this piece together. But I will admit that I am not sure I made the right color choices with this one. But wait…… didn’t I get help from Grandbaby #1? Would it be wrong of me to blame a 4 year old for choices I made?!?! 😉😊😁😂

I facetimed Miss C (grandbaby #1 - 4 yrs) for help with this snowflake. She is still in her Elsa stage so would have preferred me using purple, icey blue (not just blue….icey blue!) and pink. I didn’t have the right gems to go that direction but she did ultimately approve as I am able to use pink. I feel like I’m taking a risk combining these colours but am kind of excited too. What do you think?
