The Pandemonium Hat pattern has just been released on Ravelry!!!

The Pandemonium Hat may look repetitive and uniform at first glance, but there is a riot of colour brewing just below the surface. This is achieved with a simple and fun slip stitch pattern in which only one colour is in use per round. The resulting fabric is dense, squishy, and warm.

The Big Happy is the perfect yarn for this hat. It's a 2-ply bulky of 100% Superwash Extrafine Merino. Oh, so soft!

The samples shown are in colourways Cold as Ice/Welcome to the Jungle and Rider on the Storm/Somebody to Love. And there are so many more combinations to choose from.

The Pandemonium Hat is so fun to make and wear that you will be planning your next one before the first one is off the needles!

It has already been two months since this magical evening!!! was an amazing experience, but the Fashion Show still leaves me in awe. Seeing my designs on the runway was both exhilarating and humbling. Wow! 🤩

For Jennie, With Love is my first published sweater pattern. It is feminine and elegant, but not at all pretentious. I'm sure that you would look lovely in it!

Sneak peek at an upcoming pattern. Yarn is Smiling Sheep Fine Yarns Happy DK, an incredibly soft and lofty 4-ply of 100% superwash extrafine merino. The colourway is All By Myself.

This is For Jennie, With Love. It’s feminine and elegant, yet unpretentious, just like the person that it was named for.

Jennie was more than my mother-in-law, she was my other mother for 40 years. I loved her deeply. She passed away two years ago, and I’m still grappling with how strange the world is without her here.
For Jennie, With Love is a versatile sweater that is suitable for a variety of occasions. Its bracelet length sleeves make it a perfect choice for the office or a night on the town.

Worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, this drop shoulder sweater features a split hem, a faux seam stitch at each side, and a boat neck. German short rows are used to shape the shoulders and the front neck for a more refined fit. The front and back yokes are worked flat and joined at the shoulder seams with a modified 3-needle bind-off. Stitches are picked up around the armhole openings and the fitted sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch to the cuffs. The long cuff length adds extra elegance to the overall look.

The pattern includes 9 different sizes to fit a chest measurement ranging from 28 inches to 64 inches.
This sample is worked up in Smiling Sheep’s Smitten; a 4-ply fi*****ng weight yarn of 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. The colourway is Sweet Emotion.

Fun fact: When viewed from the right angle, the stitch pattern used for the body makes little hearts.

Hello and welcome! I'm Lisa Park Tomaszewski of Lynxis Knits.

I taught myself to knit when I was 19 and was immediately fascinated with what could be created with yarn. Over the years that followed, I continued to learn and create. I knit many beautiful things by following the patterns of some of the most skillful and accomplished designers. I found books that not only taught me new techniques, but knitting history as well. I loved it all!

I've been designing knitwear for my own use for the past 30 years, and I've finally decided to share my ideas with others.

I'm glad you're here. This is only the beginning.
