Fireglow bundles have been flying out the door but I found enough fabric to make two more fat quarter bundles - I can't do any more until they reprint the collection later this year (November).

And…,it has a Franken-back made from scraps of Catnap 108” backing. There wasn’t enough to match the patterns but that’s okay because it “goes” - good enough!

This pretty quilt and I will be in Red Deer next week and at Winnipeg later in June!

It's show season! Whatever that means...

(it means S39 will be at the Lethbridge, Red Deer, and Quilt Canada shows over the coming months - woohoo!)

It also means sample production is ongoing. I rolled this one off the longarm this morning. Pattern is by . Fabrics are all and and the quilting design is by .

This will be added to the "needs binding" pile and be ready to hang at the Lethbridge show coming up in two weeks (yikes!). Kits will be available!

You can see the sun trying to peek out which is pretty good considering we had 14th winter come back overnight. Temps are supposed to be double digits by Sunday - hello, southern Alberta!

Now Arriving - Scenery charm packs from Elizabeth Hartman's upcoming collection for Moda Fabrics.

These fabrics are a rainbow of small-medium scale prints you and mix and match with everything. If you need a taste now (full collection arrives in May) we have a few left unspoken for!

Time to go find some warm weather (although I cannot complain about the winter here this year) and time to hang out with family. Shipping closes tomorrow (Wednesday, February 4) night. Orders received after that will ship again starting on February 18.

We are looking forward to introducing our grandchildren to our favourite warm place and, hopefully, maybe even some sea turtles. We cannot wait to see the look on their faces!

Egg and Friends arrived the day the big Pajama Shopping Party started and I don't think it got its fair due! It's WONDERFUL! So many great colours and the small-medium scale prints are super versatile.

Here's a bit of sewing showing how great they look sewn up so you can just for yourself! We have all the recommended RSS basic coordinates for this line, including Starry Pistachio and Speckled in Earth as you can see in this photo.
